Public order situations are ones that carry organised resistance, complex situations, and high emotions or risk. Delays can increase operational and reputational risk and disruption. We built POETS for situations like these. They bring the advanced training, experience, and resources needed to take control and contain the situation safely and lawfully. Our skills are perfect for:

Public order doesn’t always mean the police can get involved. Often, they are limited to preventing a breach of the peace and protecting the public, leaving you with a serious problem that still needs resolving through the correct civil route.
We don’t replace the police; we support them. By liaising with attending officers and keeping communication clear on both sides, we can effectively tackle the problem, the police, and the public fallout. Our role is to carry out the most lawful and ethical enforcement route available whilst maintaining control on the ground and reducing the risk of escalation.
Contrary to popular perception, professional enforcement is about resolution, not aggression. When situations take a turn for the worse, your priority is to regain control without creating a scene that harms safety, operations, or reputation. We work to a rigorous legal framework that is built around professional conduct, respect, and calm negotiation. Our actions are disciplined, documented, and designed to resolve the problem through conflict reduction.
The POETS get brought in for situations involving organised resistance, heightened emotion, complex sites, and a real risk of disorder if the wrong move is made. Each member of the team is individually selected and trained in first aid and Police TSU Level 3 equivalent, covering conflict management, operational safety, and coordinated public order response, safe restraint and method of entry, and many other specialist techniques.
We’re trained for conflict, but de-escalation comes first, and we’ll aim for resolution through negotiation if at all possible so that the problem can be resolved without force. If the opposition is not compliant, we will respond within the legal limits of what is proportionate, ethical, and safe.
Body-worn cameras and detailed reporting provide transparency and accountability throughout. You receive a clear record of what was done, why it was done, and how it was handled. If a situation cannot be managed safely and lawfully, we will not proceed.
We were instructed by Eurotunnel to remove a group of people and vehicles from their site We responded promptly, deployed our enforcement team, and carried out the removal in a controlled and professional manner. Throughout the operation, we worked alongside the police and kept Eurotunnel colleagues informed.
“Many thanks from myself and Eurotunnel for your prompt and efficient removal of these persons and their vehicles. I will not hesitate to use your services should it be needed again. The police and my colleagues were very impressed with the efficiency and professional attitude of your officers.” – Robert Gregory, Eurotunnel
POETS is for situations where standard enforcement is likely to be overwhelmed, or where the risk level is high. If there is organised resistance, lock-ons, fortified access points, a large site perimeter to control, or a real risk of disorder, POETS may be the safest option. We will ask a few questions, assess the facts, and tell you honestly what level of response is appropriate, but naturally it is better to be safe than sorry.
Our client base spans a wide range of sectors and circumstances. We've assisted holiday parks, retail premises, local authorities, and private landowners. Whatever the scale or location of your requirement, we are equipped to deal with it.
Professional conduct matters just as much as the outcome. We make sure any action we take is proportionate and recorded both on body-worn cameras and in reporting, so you have a clear account of what happened to protect you in case anything is challenged.
We require clear description of what is happening on site, the location, and what your goal is. If you have any legal documents, notices, deadlines, photos, or site plans, those are very useful. If you don’t have everything, do not worry. We will work with what we have and can conduct reconnaissance of the site in advance.
It depends on where the site is and what conditions are involved, but we understand that with delay comes risk. As soon as we understand the scenario and are planned and prepared to deal with it, we will mobilise.
Safety comes first, always. Where specialist access is required, we plan thoroughly and come equipped with the resources needed to do the job. We do not take shortcuts, and we will not proceed if the situation cannot be managed safely and lawfully.
We believe that successful enforcement is measured by resolution over confrontation, so we aim to de-escalate the situation you’re facing, not intensify it. If that sounds right for you, give us a call. We’ll listen to your issue, assess your case, and advise on the most reasonable way forward. You can ask us any questions you have about us or the legal process, and learn more about our approach. All commitment-free.
