Steve Wood leaves the police force and establishes Able Investigations in Bristol. The work begins with Common Law support for landowners who need lawful possession restored without unnecessary delay.
As unauthorised encampments become a larger and more disruptive issue, we stop chasing small debts to shift our focus towards high-liability land matters. We become one of the only firms in the UK to specialise in Section 77 removals and clearing sites for local councils.
Demand for our services has spread beyond the Southwest, so we grow our network nationwide. We can get professional enforcement agents to any site in the UK within a day of an issue being raised.
Standard enforcement isn’t always enough. Our enforcement agents undergo advanced training and form the UK’s first and only public order enforcement team. We start taking on contentious cases that most enforcement agents can’t safely tackle.
Enforcement goes airborne with a fleet of thermal drones we deploy for quicker, safer site assessment without any on-site presence needed. We continue to incorporate advanced technology into all our operations.
