Able Investigations strongly believe in supporting our local community, which is why we were keen to donate in support of Macmillan Cancer Care and their Wellbeing Centre in Southmead Hospital recently.
As part of a fundraising event hosted by GRAHAM Construction, who are working on creating the M32 MetroBus route in Bristol, the construction team were tasked with securing support from its supply chain and business partners. As Able Investigations has worked on the M32 Metrobus project, helping to clear the site in preparation for the work to commence, we were contacted by GRAHAM and happy to donate to an excellent cause.
About the Centre
The Wellbeing Centre was opened in September 2014, with an aim to provide support and advice to those with a cancer diagnosis. Built in partnership with North Bristol NHS Trust, the centre allows people to access information and support groups in calming surroundings without having to make an appointment.
Amazing total raised!
GRAHAM Construction has arranged a number of different fund raising activities throughout the summer, including a Holiday Inn Autumn Fete and Craft Fair and a successful summer BBQ, which, alongside generous donations, has led to an amazing grand total of £5,676.47!
